Rules and regulations
at Domaine de la Ribiere:
GENERAL REGULATIONS
- Opening times reception : from 8a.m to 8p.m. Arrival times : 2 p.m - Departure times : 10 a.m- Before setting-up, you must report to the reception.
Fishing commences at 14:00 on Saturdays although you can arrive any time from mid-day and you must leave the lake no later than 10 pm the following Saturday
- You can drop your tackle at your peg but cars must be returned to the car park as soon as possible.- Taking your car to your peg during your session is not allowed.
- Fishing only from Saturday to Saturday. Night fishing allowed.
- The reservation of pegs, studio-apartments, rooms, is only possible on a weekly basis.
- Swimming is strictly prohibited.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash. Please collect their excrements..
- Showers and toilets are available for anglers in biwi only (showers may be used during opening hours Cost: 2,- euros ).
- Barbecues are not allowed (camping-gas burners only)
- All litter must be placed in the bin provided.
- Do not through cigarette ends, bottle tops on the floor or in the lake.
- The number of allowable persons on site can't exceed the capacity of the studio-apartment/gîte or the room, including the angler.
FISHING REGULATIONS
NO-KILL fishing !
Fishing is always catch-and-release. You are not allowed to stalk.
Only green biwies or camouflage pattern are accepted.
No inflatable boats or similar. Remote contolled Bait-boats are allowed. Sensible use please !
4 rods maximum per angler. Only one hook per rod. All hooks must be micro barb or barbless.
No unattended rods - extra care must be taken when fishing close to snags
Take great care of the fish. All fish to be returned to the lake immediately after weighing, klinic and photos
No braided main lines or braided leaders.
All rigs must allow fish to free themselves in case of a breakage.
No Lead-core.Tubing advised. No death rigs
No hooks bigger than size N°2. No bent-hooks
Baiting must be moderate, seeds necessarily well cooked.
Peanuts are strictly forbidden.
Large unhooking mats are compulsory and should be wetted before use.
The fish must be treated with care (clinic) and returned to the water in the best conditions.
Do not through the rest of your bait neither in the lake nor on the bank before departure.
No tree climbing.
Drink responsibly - (accidents that happen under the influence of alcohol are not covered by French public liability insurance)
Fishing during lightening storms is done so at your own risk
All unused baits to be taken home, binned or donated to the bailiff. (Do not dispose into the lake.)
No loud radios

We reserve the right to terminate your stay with us if we judge your behaviour to be unacceptable to our fish, other clients or any other person or which may contravene our regulations.
